| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: |
| The attached resolution authorizes and approves an IGA between the Town and the Pima County Recorder to provide election services for the Town's November 7, 2017 Special Bond Election. |
| BACKGROUND OR DETAILED INFORMATION: |
| Arizona Revised Statutes, section 16-408(D), permits the governing body to enter into an agreement with the County Board of Supervisors and County Recorder for election services. |
| FISCAL IMPACT: |
| The cost for election services from the Pima County Recorder's Office for the November 7, 2017 Special Bond Election is estimated at $78,000. |
| SUGGESTED MOTION: |
| I MOVE to (adopt / deny) Resolution No. (R)17-27, authorizing and approving an intergovernmental agreement between the Town of Oro Valley and the Pima County Recorder to provide election services for the November 7, 2017 Special Bond Election. |
